Our recital will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 6:30pm (Memorial Day weekend) at Dixon Hall on Tulane University’s campus.

Please fill out the permission slip, measurement information and full payment to the studio no later than January 15, 2012. A $15.00 late fee will be assessed after this date, with no exceptions.
RECITAL AND COSTUME FEES
Recital Fee: (auditorium rental, security, invitations, props, scenery, etc.) $80.00
Ballet Costume: $80.00
Jazz, Tap (not pre-tap), Modern, Theatre Dance costume rental fee: $25.00

If you do not wish to keep your child’s costume after the recital, please donate it to the studio for future performances.

REHEARSALS
Most rehearsals will be held during your child’s normal class time. We will also have one rehearsal per month on Saturdays at the studio. New choreography will be taught at this time. Additionally, all recital participants will be expected to attend a rehearsal at Dixon hall Theatre on the morning of the performance.
ATTENDANCE
Although we encourage all students to participate in the recital, we ask you to please reconsider if attending classes regularly will be a problem. Having to perform without knowing the choreography can result in the recital being traumatic rather than rewarding. If your child will be absent, please notify the teacher via phone or message prior to the absence. The last month before the recital is an extremely crucial time. Rehearsals and class attendance are mandatory during this month. Absences, except in emergency circumstances, will not be tolerated.

MEASUREMENTS
Please measure your child’s bust, waist, hips and girth (see below for definition). If you have trouble measuring your child, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher at the studio 482-0038. Our costumes are not custom made; therefore, some alterations may be needed. Please allow for growth.
PERSONAL CLOTHING
Each student will be responsible for providing his/her own tights and dance shoes. If you have any questions regarding the type or color of these dance supplies, please ask your child’s teacher.
