The mission of Ballet Louisiane is the preservation of the technique and choreography of Lelia Haller by providing performaing opportunities for members of the New Orleans are community in the art of dance in a professional atmoshpere.

Ballet Louisiane is a community-based 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization commited to promoting the art of dance and offering dancers of all types the opportunity to perform in a professional atmosphere.

The organization is dedicated to preserving the legacy of Lelia Haller, one of New Orleans' original ballet misstresses, by instructing students in her personal and unique technique, as well as by staging her original choreography. As such, Ballet Louisiane's contribution to the growth and historical preservation of New Orleans' culture is essential to our beloved city as well as the surrounding parishes.
